The Warehouse and Supply Courier Associate at OFFOR Health plays a vital role in the efficient management and transportation of medical supplies, equipment, and inventory. This position encompasses responsibilities in both the warehouse and delivery environments, ensuring the timely and secure handling of medical products while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities

Inventory Management:
Inventory Management:
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming medical supplies and equipment.
- Organize and maintain inventory levels, ensuring proper storage and efficient stock rotation.
- Perform quality assurance inspections and verify the quality and condition of incoming and outgoing medical products to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Perform documentation and record-keeping to maintain accurate records of all deliveries and inventory transactions, including item descriptions, pickup and delivery times, and signatures.
- Process and fulfill orders accurately and promptly, picking and packing medical products for shipment in accordance with company guidelines.
- Prepare shipping documentation, including packing lists and shipping labels.
- Coordinate with carriers to ensure timely and secure delivery of orders.
- Safely transport medical supplies, equipment, and healthcare-related items between various locations, following designated routes and schedules.
- Properly handle and package medical items to ensure their integrity and security during transportation, adhering to specific guidelines for various items.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations, including those specific to the healthcare industry and required by OSHA.
- Ensure proper handling of hazardous materials and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
- Follow established emergency response procedures in case of emergencies or unforeseen circumstances during deliveries.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients and healthcare professionals.
- Address inquiries or concerns promptly and follow through on the resolution process.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing and customer service, to fulfill orders and support company operations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in both warehouse operations and delivery services.

- High school diploma or equivalent. Additional certifications or coursework in warehousing, logistics, or supply chain management preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or courier role, preferably in a medical or healthcare-related setting.
- Valid driver’s license and motor vehicle records that are free of excessive violations or infractions that would indicate concern for safe vehicle operations.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of medical products, supplies, and equipment used in healthcare facilities.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory tracking.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling medical products.
- Position requires the ability to lift and move heavy packages up to and over 50 lbs or equipment safely frequently.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a team-player attitude.
- Understanding of medical terminology and safety protocols preferred.
- Willingness to undergo background checks, drug screenings, and comply with relevant health and DOT regulations.
- Problem Solving: Able to quickly assess and address issues to keep processes moving smoothly
- Professionalism: Reliable, punctual, and dedicated to maintaining high standards in all aspects of your work
- There may be an occasional need for overnight travel as new locations are established, about 10% or less of the time
